The Southfield Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is committed to serving southern Oakland County through programs that empower, educate, and uplift our community in the areas of: Our Youth: Delta Academy, Delta GEMS, EMBODI, Cotillion, Scholarship, and Educational Enrichment Our Families: Financial Planning and Physical & Mental Health programs Our Community: Toy Drives, Health Fairs, Social Action initiatives, International Awareness & Involvement programs, and so much more! Chartered on November 17, 1984, the Southfield Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was started by 31 trailblazing women as the first African American Greek-letter organization in Southfield. Today, with more than 400 members, SAC proudly serves southern Oakland County through programs that uplift youth, strengthen families, and empower communities.
