2024-25 Scholarship Application

Dear Applicant:

The Southfield Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is committed to helping young people succeed academically. This includes ensuring that students have access to the financial resources they need to obtain a college education.

Scholarships are available to graduating 2025 high school seniors who reside or attend a public, private, or charter high school within the service areas of Southfield Alumnae Chapter: Berkley, Beverly Hills, Bingham Farms, Birmingham, Clawson, Farmington, Farmington Hills, Ferndale, Franklin, Hazel Park, Huntington Woods, Lathrup Village, Madison Heights, Milford, Northville (Oakland County only), Novi, Oak Park, Pleasant Ridge, Royal Oak, Royal Oak Twp., Southfield, Southfield Twp., South Lyon, and Wixom.

To be eligible to receive an award, students MUST have a grade point average of at least 2.5 (based on a 4.0 scale) and have been accepted in a full-time program at a college, university or other accredited post-secondary institution for the 2025-26 academic year. Verification of acceptance must be provided.

Completed online applications must include the following items:

•   The online application
•   An uploaded official high school transcript
•   Two signed letters of recommendation
•   One letter of acceptance to a college, university, or institution of equivalent accreditation
•   An essay
•   Applicant's e-signature
•   Parent or guardian's e-signature
•   One headshot photograph

All materials must be submitted via this online application form to www.deltasac.org/scholarship.

Hand-delivered, mailed, or emailed applications or documents will not be accepted. An applicant can apply to more than one scholarship. However, each applicant will only receive one award, if selected.

Next Steps:
Students who have submitted a completed application and meet the requirements will be notified via telephone or e-mail to schedule an interview.

Applicants who are awarded scholarships will be notified in May 2025.
